A flu vaccine is the most effective way to prevent catching the flu or developing serious symptoms. The CDC recommends that all adults receive a flu shot, particularly those in high risk categories. A person is considered high risk if they are over 65 years of age or have other medical conditions.

Depending on your insurance, you can receive flu treatment at no charge. You can call ahead to check how your specific insurance plan will interact with our services.

If you test positive for the flu, we recommend you stay home and rest. Flu positive patients should not be in contact with others until their symptoms completely subside.

While recovering, we recommend lots of bed rest and fluids. You can also book a telehealth appointment to discuss your flu symptoms and see if medication will be necessary.
